Security clearance required: Top Secret - SCI Full Description As a member of the CSO team, you will plan, document, coordinate, and perform day-to-day CSO operations and systems administration procedures. Make on-line and off-line configuration changes in support of operations, test or exercises. Coordinate changes with contract customers, users, and developers. Serve as a help desk representative, and administrative system users, administrators, and maintainers. Diagnose and troubleshoot system problems. Background Experience Required: Ability to operate IBM mainframe systems and associated peripherals. Help desk operations experience is a large plus, particularly experience with Magic, HP Service Desk, Remedy, Heat, or other help desk tools. Hardware maintenance experience is a plus. Technical Skills Required: Operate IBM mainframe system and peripheral devices. Identify, report, coordinate, and document system abnormalities. Perform scheduled and unscheduled IPLs/failovers. Coordinate with maintenance/System Center/Job Control on all repair actions/status. Perform scheduled system tasks (database dumps, spool dumps, inventories). Create output products and disseminate, as requested. Initialize Exercise and Training (EAT) on Live/Backup system, as requested by SCC. Create Mission/Scenario tapes and follow established handling procedures. Recycle Address Spaces (A/S), as requested. Respond to Communications Replacement Adapter (CRA) failures. Ensure facility security utilizing established entry access procedures. Assist in training of apprentice personnel. Perform daily tape inventory (mission/scenario tapes). Prepare tape boxes/assist librarian, as needed. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Space Defense Operations Center (SPADOC) experience. Other: A Bachelor's degree, and one year experience in Cisco network is desired. Job requires shift work as well as extended shift hours to meet customer requirements. Candidates must have TS/SCI Clearance to be eligible What is in it for you?
